Mental Fitness

Mental fitness is essential to living a life of your own making and thriving in it.  Now is the right time to strengthen your ability to preempt burnout, compassion fatigue, and build the foundation for actualizing your dreams for this year.  What would you do if you could step out of your own way?  Like physical fitness—the ability to use inherent or acquired physical resources—mental fitness describes the ability to direct your own thought processes, to generate possibilities, to empathize with self and others, to ground in the present, to thrive and be resilient in the face of adversity, and to actualize decisions.  

Mental fitness coaches may help individuals or groups to build and maintain mental strength and resilience, but they do not provide medical advice or services. Instead, mental fitness involves practices such as mindfulness, meditation, positive thinking, and self reflection to help people strengthen the mental muscles (or resources) needed to self regulate, create change and make a life you can’t wait to wake up to.  The impact of this fitness populates into all areas of life.
